Moggy Minders: Terms & Conditions
All bookings made with Moggy Minders constitute acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions
- “Moggy Minders”, “we”, “us”, “our”, “the company” refers to Moggy Minders and any approved members of the Moggy Minders team.
- “You”, “the client”, “the owner” refers to the person booking and using Moggy Minders’ services.
- “Cat(s)” or “pet(s)” refers to the animal(s) for whom services are booked.
2. Bookings & Meet and Greet
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Moggy Minders.
- A complimentary, no-obligation meet and greet (up to one hour) will be arranged before the first booking. This allows us to meet you and your cat(s), collect keys, and discuss care routines.
- Information provided during the meet and greet will be relied upon for all future bookings unless you notify us of any changes.
- You agree to provide full and accurate details about your cat(s), including behaviour, medical needs, routines, and dietary requirements.
- Moggy Minders reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if we believe the service requested is unsuitable or may compromise the welfare of your cat(s) or our sitters.
3. Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the booking start date will receive a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
- No refund is payable for cancellations made on or after the booking start date.
4. Payments
- A 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking to secure dates.
- Bookings are not secured until the deposit payment has been received.
5. General Pet Safety & Welfare
- While every reasonable care will be taken, all pets are cared for entirely at the owner’s risk.
- Moggy Minders cannot be held liable for loss, injury, illness, disappearance, or death of a pet while in our care, whether indoors or outdoors.
- If your cat has outdoor access, we cannot guarantee sightings at every visit. If your cat is not seen, you will be informed after the visit.
- We cannot be held responsible for injuries or damage caused by your pet to third parties.
- We strongly recommend that all pets are fully insured. Moggy Minders reserves the right to refuse care for uninsured animals.
- We can administer oral medication as instructed but accept no liability for any consequences arising from medication or its administration.
6. Visit Times, Cover & Continuity
- We aim to visit as close as possible to your preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed.
- Moggy Minders is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, traffic, emergencies).
- Wherever possible, the same sitter will attend all visits, but we reserve the right to allocate an alternative sitter in cases of illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances.
7. Instructions & Supplies
- You agree to provide clear written and/or verbal instructions for the care of your cat(s).
- You must supply all necessary items, including food, medication, litter, and cleaning products.
- We will clean up reasonable mess caused by your pet(s) using the supplies provided.
- Moggy Minders is not liable for damage to property or contents caused by your pet(s).
- If additional supplies or veterinary treatment are required, costs will be added to your bill.
- Any time spent shopping for supplies or attending veterinary appointments will be charged at the applicable hourly rate, plus mileage.
8. Veterinary Care
- In the event of illness or injury, you authorise Moggy Minders to seek veterinary care as necessary.
- You agree to provide full veterinary contact details prior to the booking.
- All veterinary fees remain the responsibility of the owner and must be reimbursed to Moggy Minders or paid directly to the veterinary practice.
9. Emergencies
- You must provide an emergency contact within the UK who is authorised to make decisions if you cannot be reached.
- While we will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your nominated person, Moggy Minders reserves the right to act in your pet’s best interests following veterinary advice.
- Moggy Minders will not be held liable for illness, injury, or death arising during the provision of our services.
10. Security, Access & Insurance
- Moggy Minders holds appropriate public liability insurance.
- Moggy Minders holds appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service certification.
- You authorise us to enter your property to carry out the agreed services.
- You must provide safe and reliable access, including keys and alarm codes where applicable.
- Keys are stored securely and labelled discreetly.
- You are responsible for ensuring your home, contents, and pets are adequately insured.
- Moggy Minders is not liable for break-ins, vandalism, or property issues occurring during the service period.
- Windows will not be opened or closed unless explicitly instructed.
11. Parking
- Where possible, you agree to provide suitable parking.
- Any parking permits must be supplied in advance.
- If parking fees or penalties are incurred due to lack of permits or free parking, these costs will be passed on to the client.
12. Communications
- We may contact you via phone, text, email, or WhatsApp.
- Visit updates, photos and videos can be provided where requested.
13. Data Protection
- Moggy Minders treats all personal data as confidential.
- Client data will never be sold or shared with third parties.
14. Photos & Social Media
- You grant Moggy Minders permission to take photos of your cat(s) during visits.
- Unless you opt out, you also grant permission for these photos to be shared on our website or social media.
- Photos will only feature your pet(s) and will not include personal or identifying details.
